An Exhibition by USC Roski School of Fine Arts Graduating Seniors

LOS ANGELES, CA – October 23 – Thirty-five individuals with varying practices bring their work together this fall for a group show including painting, drawing, sculpture, digital images, projections, photography, and site-specific installation. The unifying element between these artists is not the work itself, but the common situation of completing their undergraduate education and exhibiting in the same gallery. The varying practices in one gallery necessitated individual treatment of each wall space, and the specific treatment of each work is the unifying element of the show.

The students have created varying contexts, or “walls,” that are appropriate for the artistic intent of each work. There will be many surfaces on which work is shown, and in this way, 35 Walls will employ a non-traditional use of the gallery space to create a cohesive show where each individual artist’s vision is realized.

Exhibiting artists include:
John Cheng, Kristin Codiga, Shana Choen, Sarah Corruccini, Shannon Dillon, Andrew Emmons, Kate Enzenauer, Chase Facer, Chelsea Gribble, Lisa Haase, Mackenzie Hoffman, Melanie Hogan, Davie Jacobs, Alice Kahn, Jan Kelly, Lily Kuo, Mengning Li, Clara Liu, Colleen McGinn, Erin Mechanic, Simona Merchen, Brian Newman, Hayley ONeill, Adriana Pulido, Kristen Reeves, Tricia Ritter, Lindsay Rothschild, Melissa Sanchez, Jeff Schwartz, Nicole Shidlovitsky, Lisa Takehana, Marinna Wagner, Emily Wendell, Charlotte West, Tong Zhao
